The aging on this wine has softened and rounded it, taking the body down to something more akin to a 13% wine, but it hasn't lost any of its power. Smoke, black and red cherry, tobacco and black currant all flow out. Black tea, dried sage and just a drop of eucalyptus add to the herbaceous edge. Savour and drink with many friends, or as a personal treat.
