A beautiful sunny gold colour, this wine is in excellent condition. The age has given it a waxy edge and soften the acidity without losing its aromas of clove, anise-spiced honey and crisp yellow apple. Traditionally seen in Friuli, Italy, the grape variety has started a small following in Napa Valley and is growing in popularity. Pair it with a pumpkin risotto in the winter, or a roasted squash tart in the summer.
