The Scotto Family have been in the wine business for 5 generations now, and their expertise really shows. Their Pinot (blended with 3% each Syrah and Alicante Bouschet) is sourced from the Pinot-friendly cooler vineyard sites in Monterey and Sonoma. A lighter style than many Californian wines, it is full of classic fresh raspberry and red-fruit characters with a hint of spice from a short time in large oak barrels. Perfect to end a meal accompanied by soft cheeses or, if served with the mains, white meat dishes such as roast chicken, guinea fowl or baked salmon.
