Varner have a strong emphasis on low-intervention wines which are free to express the characteristics of their grapes and vineyards. This chardonnay is no exception. It's emphasis is on citrusy and peachy fruit, some honeysuckle, a touch of pineapple and vibrant, refreshing acidity. It is elegant and restrained, excellent value, and we love it! A great all-rounder, we would have it with all things fish - think cakes, pie or pasta!
